Living in about 10 countries – as I have – makes one really immune to Nationalism, which is how I like it.
So far I have lived in the following countries:-
England,
Australia,
Tasmania,
England (again),
Singapore,
England (again),
Holland,
France,
Angola,
China,
The Philippines
Malaysia,
Australia (again),
And that is all…..
Alright. So you’ve lived in those countries. And what is the conclusion? Do you have a point?

The point is that I have discovered that patriotic feelings are a waste of space…. That is all……..

There is such a thing as appreciating the opportunity to live where you have. You have moved around a lot and lived in several countries more than once. So you surely should have found one to your liking. If and when you do, I would think you would appreciate being accepted and appreciate what the country has to offer you. That is what patriotism is. If you don’t agree with the concept, you will never be happy.

I liked them all, simple. But no one or other was best, France in its way, and Australia in its way….. So I liked all of the countries I have lived in, in one way or another…
